kabelplus cable internet under the kabelNET brand runs from EUR 20.90/month for 50/10 Mbit/s (small) to EUR 60.90/month for 500/50 Mbit/s (x-large), with 100/20 Mbit/s (medium) at EUR 30.90 and 300/30 Mbit/s (large) at EUR 40.90. All tiers include unlimited data. A wireless waveNET fallback costs EUR 19.90 to EUR 29.90/month where cable is unavailable (prices as of August 2026, verify on kabelplus.at).

Combined COMPLETE Magic TV packages, which add around 130 TV channels and telephony to the internet line, run from EUR 33.80/month (small) up to EUR 70.90/month (x-large). kabelplusMOBILE plans start around EUR 4.99/month for 6 GB and rise to about EUR 17.99/month for 40 GB with EU roaming.

The one-off connection fee is EUR 19.90 (reduced from EUR 119.90) and contracts can be cancelled with one month's notice. A 25% discount for 24 months applied to new orders and upgrades through 31 May 2026.

kabelplus Financial Performance

kabelplus is privately held as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the listed EVN AG, and EVN does not break out standalone kabelplus results in its recent group reporting. The most recent published company-specific figures are dated: revenue of about EUR 68.8 million in fiscal year 2019/20 and around 107 employees as of 30 September 2020.

As of 30 September 2020, kabelplus reported roughly 114,000 television customers, about 94,000 broadband internet customers, and around 73,000 telephony and mobile customers. More recent subscriber and revenue figures specific to kabelplus were not publicly disclosed at the time of writing.

Ownership by EVN AG, which is majority-controlled by the State of Lower Austria, gives kabelplus a utility-backed balance sheet, but detailed current financials for the telecom subsidiary are not separately published.

In December 2025 and early January 2026, kabelplus acquired 100% of Speed Connect Austria, a rural fiber network builder that had entered insolvency in June 2025. The restructuring plan was court-confirmed on 12 December 2025, and the acquired business was rebranded fiberplus, extending kabelplus's open-access FTTH reach into rural areas of Austria as part of the EVN Group (reported by Extrajournal, 8 January 2026).

In the 2026 zafaco Austrian fixed-line internet test, kabelplus rose to second place among regional providers with a score of 1.48, behind Salzburg AG (1.27), with all three regional operators rated very good. That is an improvement on its 2025 result.

kabelplus ran a promotion of 25% off for 24 months on new orders and upgrades, valid through 31 May 2026, with the one-off setup fee cut to EUR 19.90 from EUR 119.90.

kabelplus continues to expand fiber via the nöGIG open-access model and through selective takeovers of local cable networks in its region.
