yesss! Pricing

yesss! prices from EUR 7.99 to EUR 19.99 per month, all prepaid and contract-free on the A1 network (as of June 2026). SIMple S is EUR 7.99 for 10 GB and up to 50 Mbit/s; SIMple M is EUR 9.99 for 100 GB at up to 100 Mbit/s; SIMple L 5G is EUR 14.99 for 150 GB with 5G up to 150 Mbit/s; SIMple XL 5G is EUR 19.99 for 200 GB with 5G up to 200 Mbit/s. Each tariff includes 1,000 to 1,500 minutes and SMS.

There is no activation or registration fee, and new customers were offered six free months on SIMple tariffs in 2026. EU roaming is included with fair-use caps that scale by tariff. eSIM and physical SIM are both available.

Unlike A1, Magenta, and Drei contract tariffs, yesss!'s prepaid plans were largely unaffected by the roughly 3.5% CPI price increase from 1 April 2026, keeping yesss! among the cheapest ways to hold an Austrian number on A1-grade coverage. Verify current prices on yesss.at before quoting.

yesss! (styled yesss!, marketed as "Der Mobilfunk-Diskonter", the mobile discounter) is an ultra-budget mobile virtual network operator in Austria. It sells prepaid, no-contract tariffs aimed at light and price-sensitive users, and rides on the A1 network rather than owning spectrum of its own.

The brand launched on 1 April 2005 as a discount arm of Orange Austria, using Orange's network. Telekom Austria Group agreed on 3 February 2012 to buy yesss! together with frequencies, base-station sites, and intellectual property from Orange Austria for up to EUR 390 million, part of the wider break-up of Orange Austria when Hutchison (Drei) acquired it. The purchase completed on 3 January 2013, after which yesss! customers were migrated onto the A1 network while the yesss! brand was kept.

Since 2013 yesss! has run as an independent brand within A1 Telekom Austria. The operating entity, yesss! Telekommunikation GmbH, shares A1's Vienna headquarters at Lassallestraße 9, 1020 Wien. Until mid-2026 yesss! sat alongside bob, A1's other budget line on the same network; A1 discontinued bob in July 2026 because it overlapped with yesss!, leaving yesss! as the group's main discount brand.

Distribution is deliberately mass-market. Start packages are sold online at yesss.at and at more than 2,200 retail points including Billa, Merkur, Penny, ADEG, BIPA, LIBRO, Lidl, Austrian Post offices, tobacco shops (Trafiken), and petrol stations, with top-up vouchers available at roughly 15,000 locations nationwide (as of 2026).

yesss! Product & Network Features

yesss! runs entirely on the A1 network, which gives it A1-level 4G reach across Austria. 5G is included on the higher SIMple L and SIMple XL tariffs, with data speeds up to 150 Mbit/s on SIMple L 5G and up to 200 Mbit/s on SIMple XL 5G (as of May 2026).

All tariffs are prepaid and contract-free, with no activation or registration fee. A contract option (Vertragsoption) exists for some SIMple tariffs, but the core product is a value-card (Wertkarte) with monthly auto-recharge.

Both physical SIM and eSIM are supported, and new customers can activate a free eSIM and start immediately. Accounts are managed through the yesss! app and the online portal at login.yesss.at.

EU roaming is included on all tariffs at no extra cost, covering EU member states plus Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland, and the United Kingdom, subject to fair-use data caps that scale with the tariff (for example about 22.8 GB of roaming data on SIMple L, as of May 2026).

yesss! Target Market

yesss! is a weaker fit for heavy data users who want the newest 5G speeds, premium customer service, or bundled fixed-line and TV. Those buyers are steered toward A1's own SIMply tariffs or Magenta and Drei, which is by design: yesss! exists to hold the discount floor for the A1 Group.
