yesss! Pricing
yesss! prices from EUR 7.99 to EUR 19.99 per month, all prepaid and contract-free on the A1 network (as of June 2026). SIMple S is EUR 7.99 for 10 GB and up to 50 Mbit/s; SIMple M is EUR 9.99 for 100 GB at up to 100 Mbit/s; SIMple L 5G is EUR 14.99 for 150 GB with 5G up to 150 Mbit/s; SIMple XL 5G is EUR 19.99 for 200 GB with 5G up to 200 Mbit/s. Each tariff includes 1,000 to 1,500 minutes and SMS.
There is no activation or registration fee, and new customers were offered six free months on SIMple tariffs in 2026. EU roaming is included with fair-use caps that scale by tariff. eSIM and physical SIM are both available.
Unlike A1, Magenta, and Drei contract tariffs, yesss!'s prepaid plans were largely unaffected by the roughly 3.5% CPI price increase from 1 April 2026, keeping yesss! among the cheapest ways to hold an Austrian number on A1-grade coverage. Verify current prices on yesss.at before quoting.
Overview
yesss!: TL;DR
yesss! Company Overview
yesss! (styled yesss!, marketed as "Der Mobilfunk-Diskonter", the mobile discounter) is an ultra-budget mobile virtual network operator in Austria. It sells prepaid, no-contract tariffs aimed at light and price-sensitive users, and rides on the A1 network rather than owning spectrum of its own.
The brand launched on 1 April 2005 as a discount arm of Orange Austria, using Orange's network. Telekom Austria Group agreed on 3 February 2012 to buy yesss! together with frequencies, base-station sites, and intellectual property from Orange Austria for up to EUR 390 million, part of the wider break-up of Orange Austria when Hutchison (Drei) acquired it. The purchase completed on 3 January 2013, after which yesss! customers were migrated onto the A1 network while the yesss! brand was kept.
Since 2013 yesss! has run as an independent brand within A1 Telekom Austria. The operating entity, yesss! Telekommunikation GmbH, shares A1's Vienna headquarters at Lassallestraße 9, 1020 Wien. Until mid-2026 yesss! sat alongside bob, A1's other budget line on the same network; A1 discontinued bob in July 2026 because it overlapped with yesss!, leaving yesss! as the group's main discount brand.
Distribution is deliberately mass-market. Start packages are sold online at yesss.at and at more than 2,200 retail points including Billa, Merkur, Penny, ADEG, BIPA, LIBRO, Lidl, Austrian Post offices, tobacco shops (Trafiken), and petrol stations, with top-up vouchers available at roughly 15,000 locations nationwide (as of 2026).
yesss! Product & Network Features
yesss! runs entirely on the A1 network, which gives it A1-level 4G reach across Austria. 5G is included on the higher SIMple L and SIMple XL tariffs, with data speeds up to 150 Mbit/s on SIMple L 5G and up to 200 Mbit/s on SIMple XL 5G (as of May 2026).
All tariffs are prepaid and contract-free, with no activation or registration fee. A contract option (Vertragsoption) exists for some SIMple tariffs, but the core product is a value-card (Wertkarte) with monthly auto-recharge.
Both physical SIM and eSIM are supported, and new customers can activate a free eSIM and start immediately. Accounts are managed through the yesss! app and the online portal at login.yesss.at.
EU roaming is included on all tariffs at no extra cost, covering EU member states plus Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland, and the United Kingdom, subject to fair-use data caps that scale with the tariff (for example about 22.8 GB of roaming data on SIMple L, as of May 2026).
yesss! Target Market
yesss! targets the most price-sensitive end of the Austrian market: light users, students, second-SIM holders, seniors, and newcomers who want a working Austrian number and A1 coverage for the lowest possible monthly cost, without a contract or credit check.
Its supermarket-and-kiosk distribution suits buyers who prefer to pick up a starter SIM in cash at a Billa, grocer, or Trafik rather than sign up online or in a phone shop. This makes it a common first SIM for arrivals and short-term residents.
yesss! is a weaker fit for heavy data users who want the newest 5G speeds, premium customer service, or bundled fixed-line and TV. Those buyers are steered toward A1's own SIMply tariffs or Magenta and Drei, which is by design: yesss! exists to hold the discount floor for the A1 Group.
How yesss! compares
yesss! is NOT the same as bob, although both operate on the A1 network. yesss! targets ultra-budget users with minimal data needs, while bob offers slightly more data at slightly higher prices. yesss! is operated by A1 Telekom Austria.
Comparison
yesss! Competitive Landscape
With bob discontinued in July 2026, yesss!'s remaining rivals are the independent supermarket discounters on other networks. The biggest is HoT (Hofer Telekom), sold through Hofer (Aldi) stores and operated by Ventocom on the Magenta network, which competes hard on price-per-gigabyte and offers 5G on its 5G tariffs.
The other key rival is spusu, which runs on the Drei network and is known for transparent pricing and automatic data rollover. The three-way contrast comes down to host network (A1 for yesss!, Magenta for HoT, Drei for spusu), entry price, and where you buy the SIM. yesss!'s edge is A1-grade coverage and mass supermarket distribution; its entry price is higher than both HoT and spusu.

Company
yesss! Financial Performance
yesss! does not publish separate financial results. As a brand operated inside A1 Telekom Austria AG, its revenue and subscriber numbers are consolidated into the parent and are not broken out publicly. Any standalone yesss! revenue or profit figure should be treated as unverified.
For parent context, Telekom Austria Group reported FY2024 revenue of EUR 5.41 billion, up 3.1% year over year, with group EBITDA above EUR 2 billion (reported March 2025). In Austria, A1 holds roughly 36% of the mobile market (RTR Telekom Monitor, Q2 2025), the base that yesss! helps defend at the budget end.
The 2013 acquisition price for the yesss! brand plus associated frequencies, sites, and IP was up to EUR 390 million; this was a one-off transaction value, not an annual revenue figure.
yesss! Recent Developments
In 2026 yesss! extended its new-customer promotion to six free months on SIMple tariffs, up from the previous three, and upgraded data allowances: SIMple M rose from 60 GB to 100 GB and SIMple L 5G from 80 GB to 150 GB (as of the May 2026 tariff sheet).
In July 2026 A1 discontinued its other budget brand, bob, and migrated bob's roughly 400,000 customers into A1, citing overlap with yesss!. That leaves yesss! as A1's dedicated mobile discounter going forward.
The current tariff line, all on the A1 network, is SIMple S at EUR 7.99 (10 GB), SIMple M at EUR 9.99 (100 GB), SIMple L 5G at EUR 14.99 (150 GB), and SIMple XL 5G at EUR 19.99 (200 GB), each with 1,000 to 1,500 minutes and SMS (as of June 2026).
Because yesss! tariffs are prepaid and contract-free, they were largely not caught by the roughly 3.5% CPI-indexed price increase that raised A1, Magenta, and Drei contract bills from 1 April 2026. yesss! reviewers repeatedly note stable pricing over several years, a point of difference against contract operators.
